are you feeling lonely?

the feeling that no cared about you? no one wants to help you and be by your side? but statistically speaking, it should be impossible to be lonely on planet earth. after all, there are more than 6 billion of us roaming around this big rock. but many people in our world are lonely and wonders why God allows them to remain. 


if we're lonely, perhaps we can have some encouragement. using God's Word, discover how the following three actions can help to ease our loneliness.

Learn Contentment. Read Philippians 4:10-13, then ask God to help you to depend on Him each day and to learn to be content in any situation.

"10 I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength."

Do good for someone. Read Hebrews 13:1-3, then look for someone in need of help. you'll get rid of loneliness for both of you.

"1 Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. 2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. 3 Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering."

Worship with God's people. Hebrews 10:21-25 emphasizes the value of worshiping with other believers. find someone whom you can praise God.

"21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."



if you're feeling lonely, lean on JESUS for contentment. help someone. and worship God with other believers. these actions will direct your thinking and remind you that when you know God you're never alone. 

"Many people are lonely because they build walls instead of Bridges."

No Pain too Great



Yesterday, I think, was not my day. I received bad news about my ministry in our church, about our enrollment for second semester, and some misunderstanding with my siblings. Those things totally messed me up, I felt so upset and it just hurt me deep inside. I almost lost out of control of everything that is happening. It felt like giving up and wanting to escape from all the situations. I wanted to shout and cry out loud to relieve the burden I’m carrying. It’s too heavy to carry alone; I don’t know what I’m going to do and there was no any idea or solution that came into my mind.

Then, I allow minutes to calm myself. After calming myself, I rushed into Prayers, talking to God every hurt that I am feeling at that time. Then God lead me into a realization not to lose my hope, never ever give up, believe the impossible, and always trust and have faith on Him. He also spoke to me through His Word found in 1 Peter 4:12-13, it says,

"Do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ. So that you may overjoyed when His glory is revealed."

These verses encouraged and taught me that there’s no suffering too painful that God cannot feel it with us and no trial so great that He cannot deliver us from it. He is with us through our sadness, pain and desolation. He hears our cries and answers our prayers in amazing ways that fill us with joy. And His compassion breathes new possibilities into our impossible situations.

Despite the situations that I’m going through, God proves to me that He is enough and He is faithful to His promises.

Regarding my ministry in our church, I believe that God will make a revival and will touch the hearts of every youth in our church. I know he will help me, He will help us. (Sorry for not mentioning the problems itself, it’s just too personal and I want to respect the people involved.)

Regarding my siblings, I know that it was a challenge for us to strengthen our relationship and to change our negative attitudes that will hindrance us for having a healthy relationship. I wanted to Thank God for their lives because through them I’m learning to change my weaknesses.

Last, is regarding my study. It’s hard for me to say what I’m going through. I can’t disclose myself about this matter. I think until now it’s hard for me to accept it. But the good thing is I know that God will never leave me, He will be right beside me every step of the way. I don’t know what the future holds but I know that He holds my future. So instead of stressing myself and worrying about it day and night, I just let God make a way for me. I know He will, I just have to believe.


                  




I know that I’m not a kind of person who shares to other people the problems that I’m going through. Instead, I just keep myself quiet and try to act and pretend that everything’s alright. But thanks for this blog, because I had a chance to share what’s going on in my life. It’s also a relieve sharing few things about my situation right now.  I know that there are people who are willing to read my blog and will encourage me through their heartwarming comments.

Di ako nag iisa..



Ang hirap palang mag failed sa isang bagay. lalo na kapag umasa kang magiging maganda ang kalalabasan. Pero
hindi pala, ang sakit sakit..
Minsan na isip ko, ganoon na ba ako kahina.. ginawa ko naman ung parte ko, pero wala parin. Siguro nga
hanggang dun nalang ako. Ang hirap tanggapin, nakakapang hina.
Sa mga ganitong pagkakataon sa buhay ko, isa lang ang tiyak na malalapitan, masasandalan, mahuhugutan ng lakas, at hinding hindi ako huhusgahan. Walang iba kundi ang Panginoong Hesus. Siya lang ang nakakaintindi at nakakaalam ng lahat ng bagay sa buhay ko.
Kay hirap naman talagang mabuhay sa mundo, di natatapos ang mga sakit, pagsubok, problema, kabiguan. Pero kung may Diyos kang masasandalan, hinding hindi ka malalagay sa kapahamakan.
Si Hesus, siya ang aking tagapagligtas. Maraming pagkakataon na sa buhay ko na lagi niya akong nililigtas. Pero may mga panahon din na hinahayaan niyang maranasan ko ang mga pagsubok upang matuto ako sa buhay.
Sadyang malungkot ang mga nangyayari, pero patuloy lamang akong magtitiwala at mananampalataya kay Hesus. Naniniwala ako na maganda ang plano niya sa aking buhay. Ang marapat kong gawin ay sundin siya at gawin ang parte ko.
di naman talaga mahirap mabuhay dito sa mundo, tayong mga tao lang ang nagpapahirap. Kung gagawin natin ang tama at susunod sa Diyos, tiyak na mabuti rin ang mangyayari sa atin. Sabi nga, kung ano ang iyong itinanim yun din ang iyong aanihin.
Haaayy.. sa sobrang sakit ng nararamdaman ko ngayon, kaya naisipan kong isulat ito. Di man detalyado kung bakit ako malungkot at nasasaktan ngayon. Ang nais ko lamang ay mailabas ang nararamdaman ko.
Balang araw sigurado ako, na sa lahat ng mga pagsubok na ito ay may magandang buhay na naghihintay sa akin. At alam kong hindi ako nag iisa dahil andyan ang Diyos na lubos na nagmamahal sa akin.
