Summer is actually 2 to 3 months ago, here in the PH. So basically this post is kind of late, since life has been very busy these past few months. Sad to share, I have a very limited time to visit my blog. But since I'd like to share with everyone what I did and where I've been this summer of 2013 I find time to post a little while before i go back to my routines. As you see, I've been in my favorite getaway, THE BEACH. Summer will always be my 2nd favorite season of the year and I hope each picture would be able to explain why.

2thousand12 Thankfulness
Where did 2012 go? It's quite hard to believe that it passed by so fast. But before anything else, let me look back on the most significant and memorable things, experiences and people from last year. Indeed, year 2012 was a colorful year and there's a lot pretty good things for keeps. I know it's kind of late to share about what my 2012 was since it's the 8th day of 2013, but my heart pushed me to do this. I think, all i need is just your little patience because this might be a long post (hahaha).
In random order (my 12 Thankfulness for 2thousand12)..
Let me start with, Graduation Day. Earlier last year, my most awaited time of my life happened. To finish and graduate in college. Until now, I'm in tears because of so much joy i felt during that day. I thank my good Lord for his saving grace and great provision during my schooldays. I know that He's the One behind all the success and victory.
Secondly. Last year i celebrated my 21st birthday. Each year I'm thankful because God never fails to bless and amaze me as He adds another year in my life. I received gifts beyond my expectations, one of which was my first job ever. I think it took me 2 months looking for a job that will suite me. 2 months was never a joke and it was really stressful waiting and looking for a job for that long. But, the Lord didn't allow me to be even more stressful, so right after my birthday, i was hired and got my first job. See, it's the faithfulness and favor of the Lord that worked in me. I don't deserve but His love made me deserving. Now, I'm currently hired in that job and still waiting for God's next plan on my career.
I'm also Thankful for the gift of friendship. I think 2012 would not be complete without these lovely girls on my side. I'm also thankful for last year's newly found friends. I'm always grateful to have girlfriends and sisters in Christ. Seriously missing those I'm not seeing in a while (you know who you are) :)
Concerts and Conferences are part of what i enjoyed last year. I'm Thankful for all these events and looking forward for more this year.
Next on list, the Children's Ministry. Last year, God poured out so much blessings and joyfulness in the heart of each kid in CBCF. These pictures was taken last December during the Christmas Party and Gift-giving day. I thank the Lord for using other people and organizations (specifically MEANS-USA and CBCF Congregation) to make all these things possible. This year I'm enthusiastic to continue in serving the Lord through this Ministry. I know that He will surely do amazing things again.
In line with above topic, I also thank the Lord for this bunch of Servant leaders. They're the ones who put countless efforts, heartfelt services, and true commitments to works of the Lord. I'm blessed to be with them and have them part of the team, Team JESUS. My prayer is that we all continue to serve the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. Thank you, Team. Love you all.
I will not go far from the topic, 'cause I'm beyond blessed and thankful for God's moving power in CBCF (my home Church). Last year, we celebrated the 26 years of God's faithfulness. How God moves in our lives and families was truly amazing. This year (and in the years to come) we will continue to serve, to love, to encourage, to build, to strengthen one another and to share the Gospel with the hope of seeing Him (JESUS CHRIST) face to face one day. And He will say to each one of us, "well done my faithful servant".
Fun outdoor experiences is also part of my thankfulness. I thank the Lord for allowing me to experience some outdoor activities last year. It is always my dream and passion to travel, hike, explore diff. beaches, be involved in sports and fitness activities. More outdoor activities this year!!!!
God knows how thankful I am for my "Ate" (sister). I love all our hang-outs, travel moments, laugh-out-loud bonding, and endless stories. I can't imagine life without having a sister on your side. Thanks to my Ate for all the support, care, love, time, and gifts hehe. You rock, sistah!!!!
Of course, 2012 would not be complete without my Family. I'm thankful for all the experiences we had last year. I cherish all the things we've shared. Our Family is far from perfect, but one thing I'm thankful for is that God has always been so faithful, loving, and great provider of our family.
And yes, what a colorful 2012. I thank my good Lord for each little experiences i had last year. I'm thankful for all the blessings, answered prayers, encouragements, better changes, and favor He has poured out to me. I can't hide those heartfelt smiles because of what the Lord has done in my life.
Last but not the least (in other words, the Best in the list) is JESUS CHRIST. I'm forever in awe of my Savior and Lord. He's been faithful to me throughout the year 2012 and i know this year 2013 He will remain the same. He's the reason why i have all those pretty good experiences and people in my life. He's my Savior, my King, my Teacher, my Strength when I'm weak, my Hope and my Lord.
And I believe this year will be even more wonderful and colorful. So much Thanks to my Loving Father in Heaven for all that He has done.
Have great and wonderful 2013 folks!

True Home
I just want to share the faithfulness and goodness of the Lord in my family. Last Saturday August 4, 2012, my family's dream came true, to have our very own house. For almost 20 years we only rented a house and it was really our prayer to have our own. After years of prayers and hard-work of everyone in our family, God answered the desire of our hearts. Finally, we were able to bought our own house. God helped us to afford and complete the payment of the house before the due date. This is a testimony of how God showed His faithfulness, goodness and provision to the people who truly trusted in Him. I just can't explain the joy i felt the moment we finally completed the payment and received the title of the house. This is really something we can truly called, "Our True Home".
I believe in the years to come, God will continue to pour out His blessings to my family. For nothing is impossible with Him.
How about you friend, what's the recent happening in your life where God answered your heart's desire/prayer?
P.S. I'm requesting for your continues prayer for the Philippines. Currently, many areas near us are still in the state of calamity and the heavy rain is still pouring down non-stop. i blog yesterday about it, here's the (link).
Thank you so much. God bless you all.

To give me Hope and a Future
GROWING UP in a non-Christian family made me hard to believe that God already plan a future for me.
I grew up in a middle status of living, not rich and not so poor. My parents don't have professional jobs. My siblings and I studied at public schools because my parents don't have the money to pay for private schools. We grew up not having all that we wanted. We were taught to be contented on what was enough and necessary. At a young age, i felt jealous with other families who can have much more that what they needed.
Knowing and realizing my family's situation at that time motivated me not to give up but to study hard, finish my study and then find a good job so that i would be able to help them.
As time goes by, I started attending Sunday School with my elder sister and sometimes with my two younger brothers. Until i became a teenager and got involved in Youth Ministry at the same church. It was then that my relationship with Jesus Christ became closer. I became a regular attendee of Church Service and Youth Fellowship. As I seek and serve God more in my life, problems and trials also came. Every time i face problems, i always asked God, "why is this happening to me and to my family?" But God didn't answered my question right away. Instead through His word, He helped me deal with life's difficulties and hardships. Through that, my relationship with Him became stronger. My family's situation became even better as the years passed by. My experiences taught me to trust God that all problems and hardships would come to pass. Step by step, God made me realized that He had something wonderful in store for me and for my family. He is also full of surprises, from an ordinary attendee of our Church, He chose me to be one of the Sunday School Teacher. I was also elected as Vice President of the Youth Ministry and now I'm currently the President. I never thought that He will use me to serve Him in bigger ways.
Even though until now my whole family is still not Christians, i still believe and pray that one day we'll all be together praising and serving the Lord. Nothing is impossible for God.
Recently, one of my dreams came true. I just graduated from college with a Bachelor's Degree. I'm grateful that God is little by little granting the desires of my heart.
Now, I'm in the stage of finding the right job. Although finding the right one for me really takes time, i still believed that God always wants the best for me. So i'll let Him lead me to the right job, that will not only help me but my family as well. He knows the desires of my heart and i know that He will never left me without a future and career. I'll just have to continue to hold on to His precious promises in Jeremiah 29:11...

what's on the first day of July???
#1. Yesterday, My dear Parents Celebrated their 31st Anniversary. Here's a picture from their wedding, taken June 30, 1981. I'm glad to witness how long they're been together and I'm lookin' forward for more years to come. Cheers!
#2. Yesterday morning, me and my church-mates had a free aerobics exercise at QC Circle. it was sponsored by Nestle "choose wellness". They have free aerobics exercise every Saturdays from 6am to 8am. We actually went there to have a "Fun Run", but we end up joining an aerobics exercise. It was so fun and so healthy even though I'm experiencing muscle back pain right now. Probably next time, i'll do proper warm up and stretching to avoid muscle pain. Here's a glimpse of what happened yesterday. i'll share the other pictures on my next post.
#3. this afternoon while watching a noontime show i heard a group of singers sang "The Time of my Life" by David Cook. I'm hearing this song for a long time but it was now that i appreciate it fully because the lyrics is very related to the latest happening of my life. here's my favorite line,
And I'll taste every moment
And live it out loudI know this is the time,
This is the time
To be more than a name
Or a face in the crowd
I know this is the time
This is the time of my life
Time of my life
watch the lyric video here.
#4. Finally, I'll be starting on my work tomorrow 2nd Day of July 2012. I'm soooooooo excited and I just can't hide it I'm about to lose control and I think I like it! lol. Anyways, my heart is really grateful for the wonderful opportunity God has given me. I'll do my best to make it good.
I can't grasp haha, it's actually July, half of the year is over. The time is flying by so fast. And I'm looking forward for more adventures and good experiences this month might bring.
Happy 1st day of July!

Happy Graduation!!!
May 11, 2012 was really the HAPPIEST moment of my life, so far. obviously because, it was my Graduation Day. it just feel so good knowing the fact that college life is over.

with Mama
during the Year-end Commencement Exercises. over 5,000 students graduated from Polytechnic University of the Philippines Batch 2012. I'm so proud to be one of the successful graduates of this batch. hey-yaaah! :D
jo-anne, my classmate and seatmate since freshmen because of our surnames.. :)
some of my classmates since freshmen.
(jo-anne, janine, eunice)
i finally got this..
with my sweet friend, Glenda. we've been together through thick and thin. she's really a good friend and i love her.
these gals were my high school classmates/batch-mates and then college batch-mates.
with our college chairperson.
with some of my closest classmates. I'm so proud of them.
meet this two girls, Aya and Apple. they are my Best friends since freshmen year until now. they were the ones who encouraged me every time i got stressed out. they are such good friends of mine. i can't imagine college life without these two wonderful pretty girls with me. they're also my sisters in Christ, having them makes me draw near to God. we say goodbye to our college life but we'll never say goodbye to our friendship. love them both!

victorious smile.. HAHAHA
Thanks to my pretty sister! for all the years of non-stop support in my study. she was one of the best people behind my success. so thankful to have her as my sissy.
behind every great men/women is a great woman. thanks to my Mother for all the support and care she has given me. i will not be able to continue my study without the help of my parents.
had a simple lunch after...
by the way, thanks again to my sis for my make-up and hair-do. i so love it much. :)
like our commencement speaker said in his speech, Graduation is not the end, it's just the beginning of a new journey in life. well i guess that is definitely true, because after this graduation we're all gonna face another challenging chapter of our lives. finding our dream job, pursuing master's degree, and etc. are one of the top priorities. right now I'm really inspired to pursue my dreams further; have a good career, study again(in the future), get hired to my dream job.
as i continue to face this new chapter of my life, i know that God will always be with me. i believe that he has something more in-store for me. i trust His plans. i'll continue to hold on to His promises in Jeremiah 29:11, "for i know the plans i have for you, declares the Lord. plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." what a wonderful promise? since i'm a new Christian, this verse had a big impact on my life. until now, it's one of my favorites and it is actually my life verse.
and this Graduation is of course dedicated to the Almighthy Lord, my family, and friends/classmates who helped me made this far. also, this will not be possible without their help, support, love, and care. All the hardships were nothing compared to the Grace and Victory God has given me. i can't totally express how blessed and thankful i am because through all these years God is always always always faithful. it was all worth it.
I give back all the Glory to God!
